How To Master Spanish - The Lazy Way

Isn't it frustrating? You want to move to Spain, but you can't speak Spanish….

Perhaps you have tried to learn but you don't want to know all about the intricacies of the grammar. All you want is to be able to understand and be understood!

I know the feeling - this is exactly how I felt when I decided to move to Spain. I tried everything that I could lay my hands on - cd courses that promised I'd learn Spanish in 12 hours, tapes, books – I even had private tuition form a Spanish teacher which left me even more confused…... This may be a good way for some people, but it didn't happen with me. Somehow I couldn't recall the words that all of these methods were teaching me. Maybe it’s my age!

LINKWORD

Then a friend told me about a cd course called ‘Linkword’ that helps you to remember and recall the words by linking them to words in English. By this time I thought that I would give it a try, as I was unable to move forward with it. And to be quite frank, I was so desperate that I would try anything…….

Personally, I found this course to be fantastic for me. It worked. If you are having difficulty with other methods of learning a language, I can’t recommend this course highly enough. The course is called Linkword and that is exactly what it does. It links the Spanish word to an English word/phrase that you concentrate on for 10 seconds. This helps you recall the words and keeps telling you not to worry if you forget one or two, as you will remember a lot. This is what I found and it felt really good with the rapid pace I was accomplishing.

Let me show you.......

The word for yellow in Spanish is 'amarillo '

The easy way to remember it is to picture a yellow armadillo in your mind, and you will never ever forget it.

The word for drawer (in a chest of drawers) in Spanish is 'cajon' pronounced 'car horn'. Now, imagine that every time you open a drawer, you hear the sound of a car horn......

That is two words that you have learned already. So you can clearly see in just a few hours that you will have a whole vocabulary. Then, Linkword shows you how to link up the words to form a sentence!

Even my kids could do it.....

My children were so impressed with my command of Spanish on a visit to visit to Spain, as was my husband who was progressing very well with the other courses I had purchased. On our return from Spain, they also went though the course and were even more impressed. My youngest daughter who is moving to Spain with us and who will be attending a Spanish school has grasped the language really quickly using this method and her pronunciation is really good. (Spanish people have said this). I am so pleased that I ordered the course it has helped my family and me in a very short space of time.

You will enjoy it too. It is getting rave reviews, and we really believe that if this course was taught in schools, the kids would zip through the intricacies of the language in no time – and would actually look forward to their next Spanish lesson!

I think the best thing about it is that you instantly get to the heart of the matter. For example – if you are only really interested in being able to confidently order a meal in a restaurant, it would only take you a few hours on a weekend to master the basics.

And there is nothing so thrilling as being able to take your partner into the restaurant, and order a nice meal, washed down with some excellent wine, followed up by coffee. Me gusta!
